COMMUNITY IMPACT

Alvis House is committed to reconnecting families, restoring communities and reinvesting in ourselves. Our clients complete thousands of hours of community service each year and participate in a variety of community programs. We work hard to help our clients reconnect with their families and their communities. The agency’s staff is also committed to improving our community. Staff participate in the United Way Campaign, Operation Feed, Race for the Cure and many other events over the course of a year.

At Alvis House, we believe that giving back to the community helps the ex-offender become a productive citizen. Over the past three years, our clients have contributed more than 40,000 community service hours to a variety of organizations, churches and civic groups, including the following:
